Bereket Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş. was established on July 1, 2011. In May 2012, the company began operating as Turkey’s first interest-free pension company in order to serve customers who are sensitive to interest-based income. It was later acquired from TMSF (Savings Deposit Insurance Fund) through a sales and share transfer agreement signed via public tender on November 26, 2016.

Bereket Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş. is a subsidiary of the Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, an institution with a well-established history of 163 years, 18 regional unions, and approximately 900,000 farmer members. The company operates in the Individual Pension, Life Insurance, Personal Accident, and Health insurance branches.

Bereket Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş. continues its operations through extensive nationwide distribution channels consisting of 10 regional directorates, 1,598 Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, more than 130 agencies and savings financing companies, as well as branches of Türkiye Finans Participation Bank, Emlak Participation Bank, Hayat Finans Participation Bank, and Ziraat Participation Bank.
